TIG LINN AT AFRICA DAY 2015

Tig Linn play original songs in English and Yoruba composed by the band of six.
They played to thousands of people on O Connell St,Merrion Square and at Liberty Hall as part of the Spectacle of Defiance and Hope and water charges protests and who also shared their music at Occupy Dame St and Fatima Mansions, the Vincent Browne Show and headlined at the Big Bang in St Stephen’s Green 2012.

They won the Waltons band and choir competition when they were chosen by Mavis Staples as her support for her concert and the National Concert Hall in November 2012 and the RTE John Murray SHow Competition in 2013. They have also played Grand Social, Whelans, The Village, Electric Picnic, Castlepalooza, Africa Day and Body and Soul. They released their first EP in Whelan’s, Dublin on May 22nd 2014 and supported Hugh Maskele in the National Concert Hall in 2015.
