ST. STEPHEN'S CHURCH [ THE PEPPER CANISTER CHURCH ]
St. Stephen’s Church, also known as The Pepper Canister Church or the Pepper Pot Church was the last of a series of Georgian Churches built by the Church of Ireland. This “Gem of Dublin” is situated on Mount Street Crescent and is well worth a visit.

Georgian churches are scarcer than Victorian churches. Well known Georgian style churches in Ireland include St George’s Church in Hardwicke Place and St Stephen’s (Pepper Cannister) Church on Mount St , both in Dublin, St Peter’s Church in Drogheda and to a lesser extent St. Columba’s in Swords.
