THE BALBRIGGAN VIADUCT
The Balbriggan Viaduct is a massive construction of eleven arches which represents a strong identifying element within the town. It carries the railway track of the Dublin to Belfast line across the harbour. There are also footpaths on each side of the line from which there is a commanding view back towards the town and beyond, and from the other side there is a wonderful view of the harbour which is home to a Fishing Fleet. Sometimes as many as twenty boats can be seen tied up there at the harbour walls.
